CoPilot for Microsoft 365 lands in Canada – with a thud

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Good news – CoPilot for Microsoft 365 is finally available for Canadian customers, hooray!

The caveat? It costs $488 per user, per year. Ouch. That’ll leave a mark.

How is Microsoft attempting to justify this latest encroachment on the Small Business owner’s wallet?

It’s possible they are betting on Enterprise clients to fill the gap. But that doesn’t do much for SMBs, who would probably benefit even more than big companies thanks to the time savings and enhanced workflow offered by AI.

But with so many other AI tools available (like the flagship ChatGPT), and other productivity enhancers like Zapier, is it really worth the cost?

Microsoft 365 CoPilot can enhance your productivity experience in apps like Word

The answer is, it depends.

Would your business benefit from being able to glean data from a Word document and summarize it in an email?

Or perhaps you’d like to take your latest revenue numbers from an Excel sheet and convert them into a PowerPoint slide.

Yes, the seamless integration with Microsoft 365 is the main selling point here, and it does sound appealing if you spend a lot of time in these apps.

Time will tell whether Microsoft’s customers go crazy for CoPilot or gawk at the price.

Why gamble with your IT investment?

“I’m tired of IT systems that are operating poorly. Tired of expensive & limited solutions that don’t scale with the business. Tired of support applying short-term bandaids to long-term problems. I want a solution that scales without any IT hassles. I want technology to be an aid, not a burden. And I want a team of experts I trust to lead the way. I’m ready.”

Well said. Let's make that happen.
